Hardangervidda in Norway is a true mecca for snowkite enthusiasts, where we’re staying right on the spot at Halne Fjellstugu lodge – with both sauna, a cozy fireplace and amazing food!

Our trips aren’t just ordinary snowkite courses and camps! At our snowkite camps you’ll get virtually unlimited hours with our experienced instructors.

Beginner? We’ll start you off with a full snowkite course from scratch where you’ll learn everything you need to become an independent kiter!

Experienced kiter? Join our instructors on an adventure out on the mountain and get the coaching you need to take your riding to the next level!

Regardless of level, if you enjoy skiing or snowboarding then snowkiting is a perfect way to enhance your time in the snow!

Both packages include:

  • Double room or cabin with en-suite bathroom

Our packages: 

Beginner: For those who want to learn to snow kite for the first time or took a course a long time ago and needs to refresh their skills. Includes:

  • All equipment during your whole stay! You share kite with one more student.
  • Full kite course with our experienced instructors, as many hours as you want!
  • Kite theory and safety

Max 4 students per instructor

Coaching: For those who have previous experience on kiting on water or snow, suits all levels as long as you can at least ride upwind. Includes:

  • Coaching with our instructors! Take your riding to the next level!

Halne Fjellstugu is located in the Hardangervidda region in Norway and offers fantastic exotic snow views with open white mountains 360 ° all around. For many snowkite enthusiasts, Halne is an obvious snow paradise with both snowy and wind-safe conditions throughout the winter.

Our very own kite spot is right on our doorstep and stretches as far as the eye can see in all directions!

Beginners and course participates can learn quick and easy on the flat open areas that offer a vast amount of space.

For advanced riders there are fun snowy peaks to explore, an unlimited amount of snow to play in, completely free of trees and obstacles.

Up on the mountain plateau the thick layer of snow always stays soft and nice, which creates the ultimate environment to explore with a kite!

We stay at Halne Fjellstugu, which is perhaps Norway’s best place to stay if you want to go snowkiting. Right outside the lodge is Halnefjord with great wind conditions, lots of snow and large areas perfect for snowkiting. That’s how we can offer a true kite-in, kite-out experience, i.e. you can set up and launch your kite on our private kite spot right outside of the lodge!

All our snowkite camps in Halne are all-inclusive with tasty food and of course we take into account all allergies and preferences (please notify when booking or contact us by e-mail). 

We’re accommodated in double rooms or cabins with en-suite bathrooms in a modern and cozy mountain lodge that provides all we need for an excellent stay:

If you don’t have access to your own personal kite equipment this can be rented from us for the fee of 850 SEK/day. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible, preferably at the time of booking.

Note, the kite course package includes all kite equipment. Skis / snowboard and helmet should always be brought by the guest.

All camps are paid at the time of booking.

30 days or more you get 100% refund. Less than 30 days prior to the camp you use your travel insurance.
